On July 8, 2015, the new Volvo XC90 launch celebration was grandly held at the Shanghai West Bund Art Center. On the launch day, several limited edition pioneer owners, including Liu Chuanzhi, Chen Daoming, Mei Baojiu, and Zhou Hang, attended to express their congratulations.

In the concept space, numerous LED screens and mirrors reflected together, complemented by spotlights from above. The "Beyond Borders, New Life" concept space artistically showcased Volvo's sense of technology and natural elements to the guests, creating an immersive experience that felt like stepping into a time tunnel, dreamlike and fantastic. The Swedish genius DJ Avicii's poetic "Feeling Good" opened the grand ceremony. The mysterious guest of the new Volvo XC90, Li Jian, surprised the audience. He performed the Chinese version of the theme song "Feeling Good" for the new Volvo XC90. His singing, as always, was filled with poetry, mesmerizing the audience. The magnificent water curtain, graceful dancers, heralded the arrival of the event's main highlight. The new Volvo XC90 emerged from the water, like a rebirth, stunning and applauded by the audience.
